Dear Friends & colleagues,
It’s a great privilege & honour to take up the responsibility of Chair of the Young Neurosurgeons forum. Through this forum, we aim to collaborate with and integrate the minds of young Neurosurgeons of our country to help them with their career and to get them to the next level. An integral part of this forum will be to involve mentors to guide them in day to day Neurosurgical practice and thereby to establish high standards of care.
Through this forum, we would like to collaborate with the YNS forums of WFNS & ACNS and to organize joint interactive sessions in the coming academic years.
A YNS page in NSI website will soon be available to all the eligible members for the young Neurosurgeons forum (less than 45 yrs)
Also, an exclusive scientific meeting or Forum in the form of NSI webinar is being planned in the coming year.
This forum will guide the young neurosurgeons in applying for travel fellowships, both national and international to help them to attend conferences and present their research work in various scientific meetings.
This forum will also aim at integrating all the fellowship programs available in the country so that a one stop platform would be created, where in the interested candidates can apply to this forum expressing their interest. After scrutinizing the application, the forum would then guide them to the respective institution heads for availability of the said program. This would greatly help the young members in getting the desired fellowship programs instead of them applying individually to various institutes looking for vacancy and availability
