A team of the “Neurological Society of India” comprising some of the eminent Neurologists from across the country, led by Dr. Sanjay Behari Senior Neurologist & Director, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, made a presentation on “Neural Tube Defects and Role of Folic Acid”.

The presentation was followed by an enlightening interaction on neurological malformations in the newborn and their possible correlation with folic acid intake.
